Helene Phillips was born on September 24, 1956 in Los Angeles, California.
She is a passionate dancer and has always been one.
“Came out of the womb dancing” she tells us. She was a dancer major at UCLA
and had a year long scholarship at the Roland Dupree Dance Academy. She was part of “Solid Gold”, “The Girl, the Gold Watch & Dynamite”, “Staying Alive”, “Going Berserk”, “Dr. Detroit” and also “Airwolf”. Phillips worked as a dance choreographer on the films “A Chorus Line” , “Jane Austen’s Mafia” , “Papa’s Angels” and “Bad Boy”. She was assistant choreographer for Michael Jackson’s 17-minute space fantasy opus “Captain Eo” and Madonna”s “Who’s That Girl?” world tour. She now teaches a master class on dancing at the Edge Dance Studio in Hollywood, California.
